Relax by the Lake

CHILL BY THE WATERSIDE

Our Log Cabin and Shepherds Huts

All of our comfortable cabins are cosy and designed just for two. The cabin and shepherds huts were built by us on the farm. They are all situated around our small and peaceful lake with lots of wildlife to be seen. Go quietly about your day and per-haps you’ll spot buzzards and owls going about their business too.

When you’re looking for an adults-only hideaway for a couple of quiet days in the countryside, consider Hillgate Farm Lodge, on the edge of the Lincolnshire fens and surrounded by farmland

ACCOMMODATION

Create a Memory

Inside is a double bed with all linens supplied, a wood burner in the living area for cosy nights or rainy days, a kitchen with a fridge-freezer for the milk (and wine, of course), microwave, kettle and various cooking utensils as well as a small sink.

Our Commitment to your relaxation

The cabins have limited cooking facilities inside, but each property has its own barbecue and seating by the water’s edge and there are many pubs and restaurants within 15 minutes’ drive. If you’re heading down the self-catering route, turn to the market towns of Wisbech (15 minutes) or Spalding (25 minutes) or the city of Peterborough (half an hour) for your shop-ping.

A Working Farm & Landing Strip!

Please bear in mind that the cabins are on a working farm, with country sounds and associated smells. There’s also a slightly unusual rural feature here too: a landing strip for microlighters
